What study resources does the app include?
MBBS Companion is a complete resource for medical students. It features a vast Question Bank of MCQs sorted by Subject and Chapter, a detailed Instruments library for surgical tools, an image-rich Slides section for Histology/Pathology, and Viva Voce questions to help you prepare for oral exams.
How do Quiz Battles work?
Quiz Battles are real-time, player-vs-player (PvP) contests. You can challenge other users online to a 1v1 quiz duel. If no live players are available, our smart matchmaking system may pair you with an AI bot to ensure you always have a match. Winning battles increases your streak and climbs the global leaderboard!
What are Events and how do I join?
Events are special, time-limited tournaments focused on specific medical topics. You can join an active event from the Home Screen. Events often have multiple levels; passing a level earns you Event Points that contribute to your ranking on the Event Leaderboard.
What are Custom Modules?
Custom Modules allow you to create your own personalized study lists. You can curate specific Instruments, Slides, or Viva questions into a custom group (e.g., "Final Year Practical Revision"). These modules are saved locally on your device for quick access later.
Why should I sign in with Google?
While basic features work as a guest, signing in unlocks the full potential of the app. It allows you to save your Quiz history, track your progress, participate in multiplayer Battles and Events, and appear on the Leaderboard.
Can I view Previous Year Question Papers (PYQs)?
Yes! The app includes a dedicated section for Question Papers. You can browse papers by subject and view the PDFs directly inside the app using our built-in PDF viewer, without needing to download external apps.
Can I use the app without Ads?
MBBS Companion uses ads to keep the content free. However, we offer a "Rewarded Ad" feature: if you watch 3 video ads, you get 1 hour of uninterrupted, ad-free access across the entire app.
Do I need an internet connection?
An internet connection is required to fetch the latest content, participate in Battles, join Events, and sync your profile. However, your created Custom Modules are stored locally and can be accessed even if your connection drops.
